A National initiative of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. where one week in the month of May is designated to emphasize the importance of higher education and highlight academic and professional achievements with particular focus on achievements of African-American women.
May Week aims to educate the community on the educational and professional achievements of notable women, as well as women in their communities in positions of leadership, while presenting avenues for the community-at-large to reach their full potential and pursue their dreams and goals.
May Week 2016 will be held May 1-7.
