Financial Fortitude, currently a national Economic Development Program Initiative of Delta Sigma Theta. Financial Fortitude is a process that will help program participants to set and define goals, develop a plan to achieve them, and to put the plan into action. The process serves as a blueprint to address all aspects of personal finances.
The Financial Fortitude initiative aims to provide financial education in our local communities and help more people build wealth and financial security by understanding the basic principles of earning, spending, saving, and investing.
North Jersey Alumnae Chapter (NJAC) Economic Development programs include Small Business Saturday and Debt Free Workshops.
As a Small Business Saturday "Neighborhood Champion”, NJAC provides the opportunity to celebrate small businesses throughout New Jersey. We join this national movement every year on Small Business Saturday to show our support of small business owners and encourage our communities to "Shop Small".
As a participant in the dFree Movement, NJAC is dedicated to sharing Debt Free principles to help eliminate a growing financial crisis caused by overspending. NJAC offers programming to enable financial freedom through panel discussions and workshops with financial experts and authors that offer practical approaches to financial management.
